About the Author
My name is Murray Jason Blehart. Welcome to my web page, and this preview of my world!
I have been writing fantasy and sci-fi since I was 9. I have held far too many jobs, and generally refer to myself as a Multi-talented, multi-tasking jack-of-all-trades. In March of 2010, I finally published my first story in an anthology called Rum and Runestones.
I was born and raised in the suburbs of Minneapolis, MN. My parents exposed me to Star Wars at the impressionable age of 5, and I've been creating fantastic galaxies of space travel and adventure or worlds of swords and sorcery most of my life.
I attended Ithaca College from the Fall of 1991 til May 1995, when I graduated with a BA in Drama, having also minored in Art History and Audio Production. After getting my mostly useless degree in theatre, I wanted to stay on the East Coast, and relocated to Northern New Jersey, where I've bounced from job to job, but somehow made some semblance of a life.
I am a highly active participant in the Society
for Creative Anachronism, where I am better known as
Don Malcolm Bowman from the Kingdom of
the East . As Malcolm, I am an active fencing marshal and instructor, herald,
dancer, archer, and service junkie.
I am currently a resident of one of the smaller towns of Bergen County in Northern New Jersey.
